The Stand Up Comedy Workshop presented by Anthony Lamond was an amazing and unique opportunity for young people in our small country community. It brought together a group of kids who were ready to participate in an activity that was different, and they appreciated the new experiences this workshop provided. They were very engaged in the discussions and followed Anthony’s lead to develop their storytelling skills. It was interesting to see their confidence and performance skills improve throughout the course of the workshop, including stage, microphone and speaking skills. But it was most special to see them bursting with pride, performing in front of their families at the end of the day.

I write to give our highest recommendation to Anthony Lamond, professional Comedian. Anthony conducted a 1-day Comedy Workshop for our theatre around Sept 2021.  Anthony was always available to contact via phone and email before and after our Workshop.  We had 13 participants at our Comedy Workshop and Anthony personally assisted everyone to build on their premise to develop a script.  On the night of the Workshop participants performed their comedy scripts to a live enthusiastic audience.  Patrons came as far as Bundaberg for this event. In fact, we were fully booked with seating for 60 people.  We engaged a local Film producer, and he filmed the live evening performance.

 

Anthony was an absolute joy to work with and we would highly recommend his services.

Last Thursday we had some great laughs at the YOUTH WEEK Comedy work shop with Anthony Lamond Productions.

The group of young people came together and wrote some hilarious stand up material with some great help and encouragment from Anthony.

The day was finished off with a Stand up Comedy show for family and friends full of laughs and fun.

Thank you to all the young people who came along and having a go while having SO much fun.

Anthony’s comedy workshop was a brilliant example of inclusivity and genuine community engagement. Participants learned new skills, built confidence and connected through shared stories.

 

It brought the community together for a much needed laugh, creating a supportive space where everyone felt seen, heard and encouraged to shine. Thank you again Anthony and we hope that you can return again in the future and deliver another great event.

So great to meet you Anthony and what an incredible opportunity for our students. They got so much out of your course and you could see their confidence grow and grow. Many thanks again for a great day.
